Overview
The Lodge at Walters Cove is a luxurious fishing lodge located on the northwest side of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The lodge is owned by the Ka:‘yu:‘k’t’h’/Che:k’tles7et’h’ First Nations and provides an element of local culture to your experience, including their signature traditional Salmon BBQ. The lodge is accessible only by boat or seaplane, and every year, guests come from all corners of the globe to fish and take in this coastal paradise.
The lodge offers a fully guided, all-inclusive fishing experience for salmon, halibut, and bottom fish. The guides are expert fishermen with a wealth of local knowledge and experience. Their insight into these waters comes from family traditions that have been passed down for millennia. This knowledge extends to bottom fishing for halibut, lingcod, and rockfish, as well as trolling for salmon. The season runs from June 18 to September 3.
The Lodge at Walters Cove offers drive-in, fly-in, or “bring your own boat” packages. The estimated per-day fishing vacation rate is US $373.56 per person.
